Over the last several weeks our group of seven Masters in Social Work graduate
students at Cal-State Los Angeles have been researching topics of Contemporary Elderly Issues of interest to both Social
Workers and Law Enforcement personnel. We have researched various issues concerning the elderly population both in the United
States and abroard. Our findings appear on the individual student web-pages that may be accessed by clicking on the
topic heading of interest that appears in the navigation table to the left.
These pages have been both a cooperative group as well as a dedicated individual effort on the part of the
students under the guidance of Dr. Carrie Petrucci professor of social work at CSULA.
As a group we thank Dr. Petrucci for her patience in trying to make social work research methods understandable
to the novices that we are.
